Making Memories Together

Needle Point is a comfortable, family-friendly holiday cottage on the Isle of Wight. It's in a private corner of Linstone Chine Holiday Village just outside Freshwater and only a two-minute walk from Linstone Chine beach and Colwell Bay. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with a sofa-bed in the living room providing extra sleeping flexibility (four guests maximum).

It is well-equipped for relaxed holidays. Bookings are available between March and November, with Needle Point welcoming couples, families and friends.

​

Linstone Chine sits in 37 acres with a private beach and panoramic views. Amenities include a small shop selling the essentials, a playground, football pitch, grass tennis court, mini-golf and a pitch and putt course. Keen golfers can also play on the nearby Freshwater Bay golf course. Any other shops, restaurants and amenities you might need are only three miles away in Freshwater village.

Local attractions include the iconic Needles and lighthouse and the colourful sand of Alum Bay. Visit the sailing town of Cowes, Queen Victoria's Osborne House, Mottistone Manor Gardens, Ventnor Botanic Gardens, Fort Victoria, Robin Hill Adventure Park, and Blackgang Chine. On the other side of the island, which is still only 20 miles away, is the Isle of Wight Zoo, Dinosaur Isle, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, and Carisbrooke Castle.

The Isle of Wight has been a favourite holiday destination for nearly 200 years. Queen Victoria took her family holidays there, loving that she and her children could enjoy the beautiful scenery and tranquil atmosphere. It's even better today than ever, with the same stunning coastline enhanced by fun attractions and excellent restaurants, tea rooms and restaurants. Needle Point is wonderfully comfortable and welcoming whether you're on your own or travelling as a couple or a family.

 

 

Accommodation Comprises:

Needle Point is a single-story cottage with accommodation all on the ground floor. Its position on the edge of the holiday park means it has uninterrupted views over Colwell Bay.

​

Open plan living room and kitchen/diner. Glass sliding doors that open onto the patio and frame fantastic views make it feel even more light and spacious. The seating area has a sofa-bed, a bookcase with a selection of books and information on the local area, and a Smart TV with Free view channels and a DVD player.

​

Kitchen/diner well equipped for self-catering or reheating, depending on how much cooking you want to do during your holiday. An extra-wide bench doubles as a breakfast bar with four stools for relaxed meals.

Family bathroom with a walk-in shower, heated mirror and towel rail, WC and a hand basin.

Outside: There is allocated parking to the rear of the cottage, and a paved patio with a table and chairs from which to enjoy the superb views.

Utilities include: WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are provided. Guests to bring beach towels if they are required. Smoking and pets are not permitted. Please note that the cottage itself does not have a washing machine or tumble dryer but there is a Laundry room onsite. Central heating throughout
